KONE JumpLift™ accelerates construction completion
- KONE SiteFlow is a traffic analysis system which boosts efficiency in the distribution of people and materials around the building via elevators and hoists to reduce waiting time and improve efficiency in vertical transportation up through the building.
- KONE JumpLift™ is a construction time elevator solution for safer and more efficient flow of people and materials during construction.
- Fully integrated with KONE SiteFlow digital solutions for smarter planning, remote management, real-time monitoring, and smoother operations.
- KONE JumpLift™ travels two to five times faster than external hoists in mid-rise and high-rise buildings respectively.
- Customers can save up to €1,126,800 euros for a 28-storey building in Europe in terms of time-spend.
- Expand construction elevator capacity by an extra 15%, optimizing KONE SiteFlow‘s construction logistics solutions.
KONE JumpLift reaches new heights
The KONE JumpLift™ is a self-climbing vertical logistics transport system that allows construction sites to benefit from the efficiency and safety of a Construction Time Use (CTU) elevator much earlier in the building process. This means earlier project completion, reduced waste, more savings, and thus better profitability for builders.
Enhanced with the digital features of KONE SiteFlow for construction logistics management: It can be operated remotely and is capable of tracking tools using an RFID system, locking floors on command, prioritizing elevator trips to eliminate waiting, and recommending actionable insights for improved transport of people and materials.

KONE JumpLift can be set up after the construction of the eighth floor, reducing and potentially eliminating the need for external hoists as soon as 45 days after installation.

In this case analysis, it is demonstrated that utilizing the KONE JumpLift with the added digital features of KONE SiteFlow can save a typical 28-story building in Europe approximately €46,950 per month in time-spend. This amounts to a total of €1,126,800 over two years of construction elevator use, effectively eliminating the need to lease an additional external hoist for the site.

Using the KONE JumpLift has also been proven to expedite construction time, meeting and, in a specifically documented case, finishing ahead of schedule by as early as 20 days. This efficiency results from early access to the KONE JumpLift™ elevator, which reduces downtime caused by severe weather and speeds up transportation. Combined with KONE SiteFlow digital solutions, it also allows for remote management and monitoring.
KONE JumpLift with KONE SiteFlow expands the capacity of the CTU elevator by an extra 15%.

Fabien Fédy, Construction acceleration lead at KONE, shares: “We innovated KONE JumpLift and added KONE SiteFlow digital solutions to significantly increase productivity in sites, all the while reducing wastage, and gathering data to recommend actionable insights for smarter budgeting as well as smoother operations. This combined solution allows sites to finish ahead of time, thus being able to start business earlier."
KONE JumpLift powered by the digital solutions of KONE SiteFlow is serving first-mover implementations in France, Sweden, Finland, and London. The success of the combined offerings project expansion on other partner sites in Abu Dhabi, Netherlands, China, India, USA, and Australia over the next two years.
KONE JumpLift with KONE SiteFlow is accelerating construction logistics using automation and digitalization to improve process, increase productivity, reduce cost, ensure safety, and bring ease to working conditions.
